❗ Crucial Installation & Warranty Notes (Must Read)
To ensure the long-term performance of your strip and to validate the 5-Year Ultimate LED’s Warranty, two components are mandatory. Failure to adhere to these specifications will void the warranty:
- LED Driver (Power Supply): An appropriate 24V DC LED driver is essential. The driver must be a quality, regulated power supply certified for LED use. Your warranty is contingent on the driver providing stable, consistent 24V DC output and the driver’s wattage correctly matching or exceeding the total strip load.
- Aluminum LED Profile (Heatsink): Installation in a suitable aluminum profile is strongly recommended. The profile must provide adequate heat dissipation to protect the COB chips from overheating. Damage resulting from thermal runaway due to non-use or inadequate heatsinking will not be covered.
Note on Cutting and Connection: Once the strip is cut, it will require a connection to power. This must be done using a secure connection method. See our Accessories section for our full range of connectors or professional soldering guidance.
